southland in the springtime

After spending almost the entire day outside at a yard sale, running with my sisters-in-law, walking my sleepy boy, and generally lounging, I have to echo this sentiment by the Indigo Girls.  (Loving the plaid pajama pants, by the way!).

Despite pollen coating our cars, scratchy throats, and menacing bumblebees, there is no place I’d rather be than in the South in the springtime, drinking in the crimson azaleas, pink dogwoods, riotous tulips, and golden jasmine.
