yes, we will take that free snack

After a dairy run today at the Durham Whole Foods, the kids received a little bonus.  No, not a random sample of sesame sticks that are usually sitting at the checkout but a little membership card for the Whole Foods Kids Club.

Fill out the little card that stays in your wallet and no one seems to look at (no data mining of my kids valuable info–“What is your favorite fruit or vegetable?”) and show it to the guy at Customer Service, and your kid goes home with a marginally healthy snack (juice box, raisins, animal crackers, etc).  Apparently on their birthdays, your kids receive a special treat, so now my son is begging me to take him to WHOLE FOODS on his birthday.  Yes, dear, we will do that as it will be significantly cheaper than a stop at the toy store…
